MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian winter sports and health resort Logoisk has been ranked among the top three best ski resorts in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The ranking of inexpensive ski resorts of Russia and the CIS member states where Russians can go visa-free was compiled by Forbes Magazine and the tourism platform Travel.ru, BelTA has learned.
“In many tourist guides Logoisk is called “Belarusian Switzerland”. The resort is often compared to the Alps due to the similarities in nature and climate,” the authors of the ranking noted.
The Russian resort Belokurikha in Altai Krai with a price of RUB3,200 per day topped the ranking of affordable ski resorts of Russia and the CIS. One day in Logoisk will cost Russian tourists RUB3,400.
The price is calculated for two adults. It includes the cost of one night in an inexpensive hotel in the first half of January, a one-day ski pass, and a lunch at a cafe.
