MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) - The Belarusian Written Language Day 2025 will be held in Lida, Grodno Oblast on 7 September. The national organizing committee for the 32nd Belarusian Written Language Day was established by Resolution No. 873 of the Council of Ministers of 25 November 2024, BelTA has learned from the National Legal Internet Portal.
Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko was appointed chairman of the organizing committee, Information Minister Marat Markov and Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee Viktor Pranyuk were appointed deputy chairmen.
The organizing committee includes the heads of the ministries of education, housing and public utilities, foreign affairs, culture, sport and tourism, communications and informatization, finance, the Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs, etc.
Financing of the events of the Belarusian Written Language Day 2025 will be provided by the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, the Lida District Executive Committee, national government bodies, etc.
