MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Iryna Kryuko of Belarus is in the top ten of the Women’s World Cup Total Score following the opening BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Pokljuka, Slovenia, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian keeps 87 points. In the opening leg in Slovenia, Iryna Kryuko finished 14th in the individual race to get 27 points, came in 17th in the sprint (24 points), and was seventh in the pursuit (36 points). Other Belarusian biathletes did not earn any points in Slovenia.
Dorothea Wierer of Italy tops the Women’s World Cup Total Score with 144 points. Second is Kaisa Makarainen of Finland with 131 points.
BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2 is due in Hochfilzen, Austria on 13-16 December.
