MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Indonesia has announced visa-free entry for up to 30 days for Belarusian tourists, spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told journalists on 15 October, BelTA has learned.
“The Indonesian government has announced its decision to grant visa-free entry for up to 30 days to Belarusians travelling for tourism,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
Belarusian passport holders will be able to enter and leave the territory of Indonesia without a visa through specially designated checkpoints at airports, ports, and border-crossing points. To enter Indonesia visa-free, one should present their return ticket and passport valid at least six months on entry.
The duration of stay must not exceed 30 days and is not subject to extension. Belarusian nationals who wish to stay in Indonesia for tourism purposes for more than 30 days or travel to the country for other purposes still can get a visa on arrival. The relevant regulations came into force on 16 March 2015.
