MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Hanna Sola won bronze in the women’s 7.5km sprint at the 2021 IBU World Championships in Pokljuka, Slovenia, BelTA has learned.
Clean-shooting Hanna Sola finished 14.4 seconds behind the winner Tirill Eckhoff of Norway, who also shot clean (21:18.7). Silver went to Anais Chevalier-Bouchet of France, 12 seconds back with one penalty.
Dzinara Alimbekava of Belarus placed 40th, 2:06.5 back, three penalties, Elena Kruchinkina was 49th, 2:23.0, three penalties, and Iryna Kryuko was 75th, 3:20.7, four penalties. A total of 99 athletes took part in the race.
