GOMEL, 22 October (BelTA) – Unique rites, traditions and customs will be featured by regions of Gomel Oblast at the town of artisans during the 1^st Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine in Gomel on 25-26 October, head of the main department for ideology, culture and youth affairs of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Irina Dovgalo told the media on 22 October, BelTA has learned.

“Guests and participants of the forum will be able to get familiar with the cultural potential of our country, Gomel Oblast. Over 20 farmsteads will feature unique traditions, customs, rites, games, arts and crafts,” said Irina Dovgalo.

More than 500 artists from Belarus and Ukraine will participate in the concert of friendship on 25 October. The program will feature Sasha Nemo, Inna Afanasyeva, Irina Dorofeyeva, Syabry and Svayaki bands, the Tsitovich Academic People’s Choir, the vocal group Chisty Golos, the Chip company, Sergei Sulimovsky, and many others.

The concert will be co-located with the exhibition of Gomel region brands. It will also showcase folk costumes, towels, arts and crafts, Gomel Oblast sights, architecture and many more.
