MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – Aleksandra Gerasimenya of Belarus has won a bronze medal at the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian clocked 27.23 seconds to finish third in the 50m backstroke final. The best time was demonstrated by Etiene Medeiros of Brazil (27.14) and Yuanhui Fu of China (27.15).
The championships will last till 30 July.
