MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian State University hosted a ceremony on 22 July to enroll students on full-time and distant courses at the legal, economic, physics, mechanical and mathematic, chemical, biological faculties and one specialty at the journalism faculty. First entrants were enrolled at the joint Belarusian-Chinese institute of the Belarusian State University and Dalian Polytechnic University, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State University.
Entrants of the institute of the Belarusian State University and Dalian Polytechnic University were enrolled on the courses with the specialty “physics” with the passing score of 322 and also “mechanics and math modeling” (305).
As BelTA reported earlier, this year the Belarusian State University is hosting the first enrollment at the joint Belarusian-Chinese institute of the Belarusian State University and Dalian Polytechnic University. There plans are to enroll 58 (28 state-funded and 30 fee-paying) students. Subjects will be taught in Russian during the first two years. Some subjects will taught in English starting from the third year. Students will also learn basic Chinese. Graduates will get diplomas of the Belarusian State University and Dalian Polytechnic University. The academic staff will include representatives of the Belarusian and Chinese universities. The graduates of the institute will be in demand among industrial, educational and scientific, and IT companies of Belarus and China, and also companies of the Great Stone Industrial Park.
