MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Minsk is hosting the international exhibition project Insight dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the famous painter, graphic artist and art theorist Wassily Kandinsky on 15 September, BelTA learned from the press service of Minsk City Hall.
The project aims to analyze the human nature, the way a person gains an insight, makes a discovery or a breakthrough.
The example of Wassily Kandinsky is very illustrative in this regard. After many years of experiments the artist came to a new understanding of art – abstract art which he viewed as the ideal visual mode to express the "inner necessity" of the artist and to convey universal human emotions and ideas.
The artists from Belarus, Russia and Austria will attend the exhibition.
