MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Darya Kisel of Belarus won silver in the Junior Girls Singles Event at the European Youth Top-10, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Table Tennis Federation.
“This was a very tough tournament. All the opponents are of the same level, and every match was important. This requires great effort, focus and good fitness. Darya demonstrated her character and will. There were many-five-set matches. I am happy with her performance and the result,” Belarusian coach Tatyana Dolgonosova said.
The Belarusian won six matches and lost two, to France’s Prithika Pavade (0-3) and Linda Zaderova of the Czech Republic (1-3).
