MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belavia air carrier plans to start flying to Brussels in 2017, Belavia Director General Anatoly Gusarov told media on 2 November, BelTA has learned.
“We are currently negotiating the matter. It is much likely that we will launch regular flights to Brussels starting from summer 2017,” Anatoly Gusarov said.
According to the Director General, the air company is looking into opening a regular flight to Brussels to extend its European route network. “We would like the new flight to expand the current routes and provide both transportation and transit opportunities. I believe it will be commercially viable,” he noted.
The Belavia Director General added that the air company launches new flights on a regular basis. In his words, the most important of those launched in 2016 were flights to Palanga, Lvov and Zhukovsky.
Belavia is the largest air carrier in Belarus. The air company offers regular flights to 47 destinations in Europe and Asia.
