MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) – Belavia and Emirates air companies signed interline, electronic interline and special prorate agreements, BelTA learned from Belavia.
These agreements enable the partner carriers to accept and issue tickets on eligible segments of each other. Thus, passengers got the opportunity to purchase tickets for the entire route networks of the two companies.
“Due to such cooperation between airlines, passengers will be able to buy a single ticket for the flights of two carriers. This would also enable the two carriers to offer the most convenient connections and the most attractive ticket price, which will make air travel even more comfortable,” said Anatoly Gusarov, Belavia Director General.
As from July 26, passengers of Belavia and Emirates Airlines will be able to travel between Minsk and Dubai via various transfer points: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Istanbul, Paris and Frankfurt.
Egor Plakhov, Emirates’ Regional Manager Commercial Operations Europe & Russian Federation said: “We are pleased to announce this partnership with Belavia and offer travelers from Minsk a more convenient way to connect to the Emirates route network, and experience our award winning product and service.”
Emirates Airlines is the fourth air carrier from the Persian Gulf region to have signed commercial partnership agreements with Belavia.
