MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian team Creative Youth League have secured first place in the team standings at the international beauty festival “Banks of the Neva River” hosted by Russia’s St. Petersburg, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Trade Ministry.

The team took part in the competition with the support of the Trade Ministry, the Belarusian Association of Hair Stylists and Beauticians, and the public association Creative Youth League. The delegation comprised 46 members from different parts of Belarus, including Minsk and Minsk Oblast, Gomel, Brest, and Baranovichi.

Beginning and professional hair stylists, make-up artists, and nail designers from Belarus competed in 15 categories.

The Belarusian beauty specialists outperformed their competitors from Ukraine, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and other countries and won more than 50 prizes placing first in the team standings.
