MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – Films of Belarusfilm Studio have been awarded at the 10th edition of the international festival Films for Children in Samara, the Russian Federation, BelTA informs.
Alexander Anisimov’s Incredible Travel received a diploma of the children’s jury for the original plot, humor and sincerity. Gennady Ryabtsev’s documentary Guardians of Legacy (Belarusian Video Center) got a diploma for the participation in the international program. Another work of the Belarusian Video Center, Yevgeny Setko’s SMERSH. Radio Game “Friends” was presented with a diploma for the participation in the festival program To The Glory Of The Fatherland marking the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The international festival Films for Children was organized in 1996 to popularize the achievements of the world children’s cinematography among the younger generation. Festival screenings were held across Samara Oblast.
