MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – Belarus took part in the 2024 World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland on 24-26 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Sport and Tourism Ministry.
Yauheni Zalaty of Belarus won the men’s singles sculls preliminary heat, quarterfinal and semifinal and came in third in the final, finishing behind Simon Van Dorp of the Netherlands and Oliver Zeidler of Germany.
Tatsiana Klimovich of Belarus finished fourth in the women’s singles sculls. Karolien Florijn of the Neetherlands won the event.
Yauheni Zalaty and Tatsiana Klimovich are 2024 Paris Games qualifiers.
