MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – Belarus won five medals at the 2021 Tissot UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup in Hong Kong, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.
Gold medals were secured by Tatsiana Sharakova and Yauheni Karaliok in the Scratch Race, and Hanna Tserakh in the Individual Pursuit.
Yauheni Karaliok clinched silver in the Omnium, Ina Savenka – bronze in the Individual Pursuit.
This season’s last Track Cycling Nations Cup will take place in Cali, Colombia on 3-6 June 2021.
Ahead of the Tokyo Games, Minsk is set to host the 2021 UEC Track Elite European Championship on 23-27 June.
