MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) - Belarusian Vera Lapko has moved into the semifinal of 2018 Ladies Open Lugano in Switzerland, BelTA has learned.

Vera Lapko guaranteed her spot with a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) victory over Belgium’s Kirsten Flipkens.

Another Belarusian, Arina Sabalenka, will face Camila Giorgi of Italy in the quarterfinal round.
