MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – A press tour for the representatives of Chinese mass media outlets is scheduled to take place in Belarus on 1-7 May, Belarus’ Deputy Information Minister Alexander Karlyukevich told the media on 29 April, BelTA has learned.
The program of the press tour will include a meeting of Chinese journalists with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the deputy minister, among the participants of the press tour will be representatives of nearly 40 news agencies, electronic mass media and other media outlets. Foreign guests will be treated to an eventful program of the visit. They are expected to attend the 21st international exhibition Mass Media in Belarus which is due in Minsk on 3-6 May. Alexander Karlyukevich stressed that China is a special guest at this year’s expo.
The visit of the Chinese journalists to Belarus will be supervised by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy.
