MINSK, 4 January (BelTA) – The Symphony Orchestra of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus will embark on its German tour on 12 January. The show will include John Williams’ music from well-known films, BelTA learned from the theater.

The tour will last till 27 January. Belarusian musicians are expected to perform in big cities of Germany, including Berlin, Stuttgart, Cologne and Leipzig. The program will feature music from films such as Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Fiddler on the Roof.

According to head of the orchestra company Dmitry Gorbachuk, such programs enjoy great popularity with the European audience. This time the Belarusian Symphony Orchestra will be giving concerts at arenas sitting 10,000-15,000 people.
