MOSCOW, 3 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia will hold a series of joint events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting of the Union State Supreme State Council in Moscow on 3 March, BelTA has learned.
According to Vladimir Putin, partaking in the Victory parade in Minsk will be Russian military units. Besides, the program of the celebrations will comprise conferences, forums, Olympiads and other events.
“The anniversary of the Victory is a sacred date for our peoples,” the Russian President stressed.
