MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – As of 22 April, 769 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered and have been released from hospitals in Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry told BelTA.
As many as 114,955 coronavirus tests have been performed in Belarus since early February. Twenty-five laboratories set up in national applied research centers and centers for hygiene, epidemiology, and public health as well as in private medical centers operate 24/7 to do COVID-19 tests.
A total of 7,281 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country. Fifty-eight coronavirus patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died.
