MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – As many as 577 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have been released from hospitals due to their full recovery in Belarus as of 21 April, the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry told BelTA.
Labs in national applied science centers, centers for hygiene, epidemiology, and public health, and private medical institutions operate 24/7 to do COVID-19 tests. As many as 25 labs are involved in the process.
As many as 108,545 coronavirus infection tests have been carried out in Belarus since early February.
A total of 6,723 people have tested positive for COVID-19. The distribution of infection cases per regions has not changed substantially, the Healthcare Ministry said.
As many as 55 coronavirus patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died.
