MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – Belarus won a bronze medal in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men Team at the ISSF World Championship in Changwon, the Republic of Korea, BelTA has learned.

Belarusians Yury Shcherbatsevich, Vitaly Bubnovich and Ilya Chergeiko were third with the result of 3526 points in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men Team event. China placed second (3532 points) and Russian was first (3535 points).

The 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men individual final will be held on 7 September. The athletes placed 1-4 will be awarded quota places for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Shooting sports will make part of the 2nd European Games MINSK 2019. Competitions in shooting sports will include 13 medal events on 22-29 June 2019.
