Belarus’ National Stadium to feature Chinese motifs
MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – The architectural look of Belarus’ National Stadium will have a Chinese flair, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko noted as he talked to the employees of a new BelGee car factory, BelTA has learned.
“We will build the National Stadium with the help of our Chinese friends. This will probably be a gift from China President Xi Jinping. I have asked my friend Xi Jinping to build a stadium with a Chinese flair to demonstrate our friendship with the people of China to everyone, including Belarusians. Now the site of the stadium is being chosen,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The National Stadium of Belarus will be constructed in Minsk. Currently big football games, including those of Belarus’ national team, are held at Borisov Arena.
