MOGILEV, 6 September (BelTA) – The World Summer Polyathlon Championship will take place in Mogilev on 7-11 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian-Russian University.
Taking part in the competitions will be about 180 athletes from ten countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Venezuela, India, and Tatarstan. Medal events will be held in four age groups.
The grenade throwing event at the sports center Olimpiyets on 8 September will be followed by short-distance races at Spartak Stadium. The Belarusian-Russian University will host the airgun event on 9 September. Swimming competitions are scheduled to take place at the House of Sports on 10 September. The endurance race will wrap up the competition program on 11 September.
The World Summer Polyathlon Championship is organized by the International Polyathlon Association and the Belarusian-Russian University.
