MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – Iryna Shymanovich of Belarus rose 60 places in the recent edition of the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
Before the start of the French Open the 25-year-old Belarusian was 214th. With her debut in the Grand Slam main draw and reaching its second round, Iryna Shymanovich rose to world No.154, her new career high.
Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus stays at No.2, while Victoria Azarenka goes 19th, and Aliaksandra Sasnovich 71st.
