MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – More than 30 designers will participate in Belarus Fashion Week (BFW) which will take place in Minsk on 11-15 April, BelTA has learned.

The 16th season of BFW will host designers from Belarus, Ukraine and Italy.

The Kid’s Fashion Day programs will open and close Belarus Fashion Week in 2018. The rising interest in kid’s fashion has spurred the development of this industry. The audience will have a chance to see the collections of the following designers: Olga Lyutich, Anastasia Falcovich, KUTEPOVA YULYA & YULYA BEZLYUDOVA, Polina Golub, Gera Scandal; the brands Vershina, Dorima, ARTUS, F.KIDS.

The organizers pointed out that Kid’s Fashion Days BFW is not only about fashion shows. It is a big charity project. This year, the funds from the ticket sale will be used to support the families from non-governmental organization “Belarusian association of assistance to children and young people with disabilities”.

The Belarus Fashion Week catwalk shows will be held in the OK16 art space in Oktyabrskaya street in Minsk. A 30-meter runway has been constructed here; the audience capacity is up to 500 guests.

Belarus Fashion Week is an international professional event aimed at promoting Belarusian brands. It has been held annually in Minsk since the fall of 2010. The main goal of Belarus Fashion Week is to help young designers and to support the existing brands. The hosts of the event are the Belarus Fashion Chamber and the Open Podium PR and communications agency.
