MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – A concert of Duo Almeida that took place in the Upper Town Concert Hall in Minsk on 28 June was dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Ecuador, BelTA learned from the Ecuadorian diplomatic mission.

Famous guitarists Julio Almeida and Nicolas Linden de Almeida (Duo Almeida) took the audience to a music trip across Latin America. The concert was organized by the Embassy of Ecuador in Belarus as part of the celebration of the 25^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states. An Ecuadorian rose – the country’s signature export product – could be seen in the hands of the audience that included Ecuadorian citizens, representatives of Belarusian ministries and government agencies, in particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats, business people, scientists and educators, journalists and famous artists.

Belarus is part of the Eurasian Economic Union that became an important market for promoting Ecuador’s tourism, exports, investments and culture, the embassy underlined.
