MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) – Young singers of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus have received awards at two prestigious international contests, BelTA learned from the theater.

Soloist of Belarus’ Bolshoi Pavel Petrov got second prize in the under-33 category and the prize for The Best Tenor at the 23rd Ferruccio Tagliavini International Singing Competition in Deutschlandsberg, Austria.

Soprano Margarita Levchuk won the Audience Prize at the Klaudia Taev Competition for Young Opera Singers in Parnu, Estonia.
