MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) – The National Art Museum of Belarus and the Gahoe Museum of Korea (Seoul) are expected to sign an agreement on cooperation on 29 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian museum.
Apart from signing the document which is aimed at expanding cooperation between the museums of Belarus and the Republic of Korea, the event will also include a ceremony to donate the traditional Korean decorative screen to the collection of the National Art Museum.
The international exhibition project Territory of Earthly Hopes was on show at the National Art Museum of Belarus from 8 March to 27 May. The Belarusian public got an excellent opportunity to get familiar with the traditions, views and aspirations of the Koreans, through the samples of decorative art. The exhibition included an extensive cultural and educational program, which along with excursions helped visitors to become more familiar with the Korean traditions and customs.
