MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian team of Mikhail Shemetau, Raman Tsishkou, Yauheni Karaliok and Dzianis Mazur finished fourth in the Men’s Team Pursuit at the 2020 UEC Track Elite European Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian cyclists clocked 4:00.372 to finish behind bronze medalists from Switzerland (3:55.051).
Russia clinched gold, Italy took silver.
The UK celebrated the victory in the Women’s Team Pursuit. Silver went to Italy. Ukraine won bronze.
The competitions in Plovdiv are underway from 11 to 15 November. Twenty-two medal events include team pursuit and team sprint, individual races, scratch races, elimination races, madison, omnium, points races, sprint and keirin.
