Belarus 2nd in 2019 Winter Universiade medal table

MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian team is currently sharing the second place in the medal table of the 29th Winter Universiade with Austria, BelTA has learned.

Belarus has clinched two gold medals so far. Aliaksandra Ramanouskaya won the Ladies Aerials event, and paired with Artyom Bashlakov triumphed in the Mixed Team Aerials. Alpine skier Jessica Gfrerer brought two gold medals to Austria.

Russia tops the medal table with nine gold, 11 silver and nine bronze medals.

The Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk will run through 12 March.
