Azarenka moves to US Open round two

MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 20 Victoria Azarenka has progressed to the US Open round two, BelTA has learned.

In the opening round the Belarusian saw off Ukraine’s world number 146 Yulia Starodubtsewa, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1. Victoria Azarenka will next play world number 56 Clara Burel of France.
