MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – The avenues in the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone have been named Minsky and Pekinsky, in honor of the capital cities of the founding countries, Kirill Koroteyev, First Deputy Director General of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, told an online press conference on BelTA’s website.
“The avenues are named after the capitals of the founding countries. Other streets will be assigned names associated with stones. We already have the streets Rubinovaya (ruby), Sapfirovaya (sapphire), Malakhitovaya (malachite),” Kirill Koroteyev noted.
The construction of roads and utilities networks has been completed within the boundaries of seven streets in the starting zone of the park with a total length of 13km. “These are modern four-and six lane roads with outdoor lighting, lights, bicycle lanes and sidewalks,” he said.
Simultaneously with the construction of the infrastructure, the management company was also implementing a project to build the first administrative eight-storied building and production premises.
