Archers secure second gold for Belarus at 2019 Military World Games

MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Women Team won the archery event at the 7th CISM World Games 2019 which are underway in Wuhan, China on 18-27 October, BelTA has learned.

This is the second gold medal for Belarus at the competitions.

The Belarusian team of Karyna Dziominskaya, Karyna Kazlouskaya and Aliaksandra Kuratnik beat Russia 6-2. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea collected bronze, defeating Ukraine 5-3.

More than 9,300 military athletes from 109 countries are competing in 27 sports at the 2019 Military World Games. Belarus has fielded 97 athletes at the games.
