Alina Talay wins 60m Hurdles in Belgium

MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – Alina Talay of Belarus won the 60m Hurdles event at the open championship in Belgium, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.

The Belarusian clocked 7.96 seconds to claim gold.

In September 2018 Alina Talay had a knee surgery. The Belarusian quickly recovered and showed great results in Belgium.

According to the Belarusian Athletics Federation, this is the three fastest time in the event in Europe what helped Alina Talay qualify for the 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow on 1-3 March.
