MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ Dzinara Alimbekava goes seventh in the IBU Women’s World Cup Total Score after seven stages, BelTA has learned.
At the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Antholz, Italy Dzinara Alimbekava finished 8th in the 15km Individual and 30th in the 12.5km Mass Start. The leader of the Belarusian women’s team currently goes with 448 points. As for the other Belarusian biathletes, Elena Kruchinkina is 27th with 195 points, Iryna Kryuko is 39th with 97 points and Hanna Sola is 42nd with 90 points.
The IBU Women’s World Cup Total Score is topped by Marte Olsbu Roeiseland of Norway with 625 points. She is followed by Norway’s Tiril Eckhoff (617) and Sweden’s Hanna Oeberg (616). France leads the IBU Women’s Nations Cup Score with 4,947 points. Sweden is second with 4,902 points and Germany is third with 4,885 points. Belarus goes 6th with 4,312 points. In Antholz the Belarusian team finished 5th in the 4x6km Relay.
Johannes Boe of Norway tops the Men’s World Cup Total Score with 709 points. Second goes Norway’s Sturla Holm Laegreid with 645 points. Third is Norway’s Tarjei Boe with 566 points. As for the Belarusian athletes, Sergey Bocharnikov goes 26th with 160 points, Anton Smolski is 31st with 127 points, Raman Yaliotnau is 46th with 69 points, Maksim Varabei is 50th with 39 points and Mikita Labastau is 71st with 9 points. Belarus is eighth in the IBU Man’s Nations Cup Score with a total of 3,661 points. Norway leads the standings with 5,526 points, France goes second with 4,953 points and Germany is third with 4,748 points.
The IBU World Championships is scheduled to take place in Slovenia’s Pokljuka on 10-21 February 2021.
