MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – About 400 foreign journalists will arrive in Minsk to cover the meeting of the “Normandy quartet” (Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and France), BelTA has learned.
BelTA has learned that about 300 foreign journalists have already arrived in Minsk. Apart from that, it is expected that about 100 mass media representatives will accompany the heads of state and will arrive in Minsk with them.
Representatives of the leading mass media of Russia, the United States, France, Great Britain, Germany, China, Cuba have been accredited to cover the talks. The forthcoming event will be also attended by the journalists from Ukraine, Japan, Czechia, Poland, Qatar, the Netherlands, Spain, Georgia, Norway, Switzerland, Italy.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Ukraine Piotr Poroshenko, President of France Francois Hollande, and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel are going t discuss the proposals on the regulation of the crisis in Ukraine. Experts believe that the meeting can become a climax of the strenuous multilateral efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
