A bird’s-eye view of Grodno and the Neman River

This old town with 890 years of history is famous for its architectural landmarks, including magnificent castles and palaces, churches of various religious denominations, monasteries and convents. It was hailed as one of Europe’s most beautiful cities in the Civitates Orbis Terrarum, a great city atlas edited by German topo-geographer Georg Braun in the 16th century.
