42nd Congress of the BRSM Youth Union

The Year of Youth got off to a grandiose start with the congress of the activists the country’s largest youth association. The forum is held every three years bringing together about 1,000 delegates of the BRSM Youth Union and guests, including members of the government, MPs, senators and heads of foreign youth organizations.

The main decoration element of the forum was Apple Orchard, which was not accidental. Ahead of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Victory the BRSM Youth Union launched a new big project "Flowers of the Great Victory!" whose symbol is the flower of an apple tree with red-green ribbon of the Belarusian flag. It is the blossoming gardens that many associate the Victory Day of May of 1945 with.
