The 27th Minsk International Book Fair

The stand of the United States of America will take visitors of the 27th Minsk International Book Fair on a journey throughout the United States of America, Charge d’Affaires of the USA in Belarus Jenifer Moore said on the sidelines of the book fair.

“We were happy to receive the invitation of the Information Ministry to become a central exhibitor of the expo. The U.S. embassy in Belarus has been taking part in the expo for 22 years already. Using various themes, genres and formats we invite visitors to explore the history of America. This year the theme of our stand is “On the road: American travel literature”, the diplomat said.

All in all, the stand features more than 200 best American travel books in English and Russian. Visitors will also be able to look through travel magazines. There will be about 200 periodicals on display. The stand has three zones: Traveling, National Parks and Diner.
