In 2006-2013 the Belarusian microchip manufacturer OAO Integral came up with a new class of microelectronic products, which demonstrate extreme resilience to destabilizing factors, including nuclear explosions. Meanwhile, the Belarusian company OAO Planar developed a lineup of high-precision assembly equipment.
Belarusian microchips are used in military products, rockets and spacecraft, nuclear industry equipment, aircraft, and civil equipment. They sell well in Russia, India, South Korea, China, Canada, and other countries. Microchips of Belarusian design will travel to Mercury: the Russian Space Research Institute used the Belarusian technology for protecting radioelectronic equipment to create space equipment for researching the planet.
