More than 16,000 lights switched on at the New Year Tree of Mogilev Oblast

The New Year's charity campaign Our Children kicked off in Mogilev on 15 December. The festival on Lenin Square featured fairy-tale characters, stilt walkers, costumed characters and more than 120 Fathers Frost and Snow Maidens. The most awaited event was a ceremony to switch on the lights at the region’s main New Year tree which was more than 35 meters high with a pixel garland consisting of 16,000 lights.
