2nd European Games: Cycling

Competitions in track and road cycling are part of the European Games in Minsk. For the first time the European Games will have track events which will be hosted by Minsk Arena velodrome on 27-30 June. They will feature 316 racers competing for 20 sets of medals. The road program will bring together 226 athletes in four medal events. Cyclists will start from Oktyabrskaya Square and cycle the 15km route along Minsk's main attractions. The competitions will be held from 22 to 25 June.

By the way, at the 1st European Games in Baku Belarusian Vasily Kiriyenko won the Individual Road Cycling Time Trial and Yelena Omelyusik was victorious in the Women’s Road Race.
