FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup in Raubichi: Belarus wins silver

Russia’s Maksim Burov scored 120.36 points to win the aerials event at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup in Raubichi. Belarus’ Anton Kushnir was second with 118.10 points and Stanislav Nikitin third (99.12 points).

This season Anton Kushnir placed eighth at the first world cup in Lake Placid and failed to pass through the qualifications at the second world cup in Moscow.

The Belarusian ladies failed to advance to the finals in Raubichi. Xu Mengtao from China, the leader of the 2019 World Cup season, clinched gold with 87.77 points. Another Chinese athlete, Xu Sicun, was second with 80.33 points. Shao Qi capped the Chinese sweep with 80.04 points.
