The wonderful palace of Rumyantsevs and Paskeviches, the magnificent church, the reliquary chapel, the interior garden and the observation tower, the Swans’ Pond, the ancient park on the bank on the Sozh River, the futuristic circus are the landmarks of Belarus’ second largest city of Gomel. During New Year holidays the main tourist attraction – the park and palace complex – will have an eventful entertainment program. It includes the show for children The New Year Night’s Dream, Christmas Impromptu featuring jazz, blues, rock-n-roll music, and other events. Besides, the biggest collection of ancient clocks and watches in Belarus will be on display. The only court watchmaker in Belarus – renovator Nikolai Lobanov – has been working in the park and palace complex for 25 years.
