Upon the initiative of Vitebsk Oblast Police Department Chief Viktor Senko, the lineup of exhibits at the Vitebsk Oblast Police Department museum has been expanded and updated with the financial assistance of the municipal government and active support from the police veteran organizations. One of the museum halls is now dedicated to modern history.
