Belarus parliament elections

Number of national observers accredited for Belarus parliament elections up to 376

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – A total of 376 national observers have been accredited with the election commissions for the parliamentary elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the sixth convocation. Such information has been posted on the official website of the Central Election Commission, BelTA has learned.

34 observers represent political parties, 305 - public associations. 60 observers represent the Belaya Rus association, 60 - the BRSM Youth Union, 48 - the Belarusian Helsinki Committee, and 43 - the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. Another 35 citizens got accredited as observers by filing the relevant applications; two have been nominated by labor collectives.

The Central Election Commission has accredited 48 observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States. Eight observers represent the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
