MOSCOW, 17 November (BelTA) – Voting in the Belarusian parliamentary elections have been organized in three cities of the Russian Federation: Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kaliningrad, BelTA has learned.
The polling station in the Russian capital is located in the Business and Cultural Center of the Belarusian embassy in Russia. The other polling stations have been opened in the embassy’s offices.
Polling stations in Moscow and St. Petersburg opened simultaneously with the beginning of voting in Belarus. The polling station in Kaliningrad opened one hour later due to the time difference.
Both Belarusian citizens permanently residing in Russia and people temporarily staying in the country have the right to cast their votes there. They need an ID to prove their Belarusian citizenship.
