MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ Central Election Commission has accredited 240 national observers for the parliamentary elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the sixth convocation. Such information is posted on the official website of the Central Election Commission, BelTA has learned.
21 observers represent political parties, 204 - public associations. In particular, the CEC accredited 42 observers from Belaya Rus association, 33 representatives of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, 46 observers from the Belarusian Helsinki Committee, and 23 from the Federation of trade unions of Belarus.
Another 15 citizens got accredited as observers by filing the relevant applications.
